Northern Neonatal Network’s 3rd annual Education and Research Workshop
October 12 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pmFree
“Latest Advances in Neonatal Care”
Thursday 12 th October 2017 The Durham Centre, Belmont Industrial Estate, Durham, DH1 1TN
This meeting follows the very successful meetings of the last two years. They have improved awareness of neonatal research activities across the Network and particularly provided a platform on which to develop nursing, midwifery and AHP research. As always, we will be having an interactive mix of presentations and discussions. These will focus on latest advances in neonatal care at a regional, national and international level that are developing through research studies being undertaken in our region.
Early career researchers, including nurses, midwives, AHPs and doctors, will be invited to present their work.
These are studies that neonatal staff contribute to regularly and are relevant to daily work within neonatal units. This is an opportunity for you to hear about the studies that you have contributed to recently.
As a key part of the day we also hope to invite parents to join us to tell us about their experiences of taking part in neonatal research studies.
Who Should Attend? The session will be of interest to all clinical staff working in SCBUs and NICUs. It will be of particular interest to nurses, ANNPs, paediatric & neonatal trainees and consultants and is ideal for revalidation reflective learning purposes.
Places are free to network staff but strictly limited so please let Martyn Boyd know (below) if you would like to reserve a place to help with catering numbers.
